Today’s card is my first Autumn card of the year. It uses a mix of new products from the upcoming Holiday Catalog. I bought the Painted Harvest stamp set because of the gorgeous flowers. I think it’s kind of funny that the first time I used this set, I didn’t even use the flowers. The “gather together and give thanks” sentiment gives me a warm feeling. Isn’t that what this season is all about? Gathering together with family and friends. And being thankful that you are together. 
This card is quick and easy to put together. The background is embossed with the Quilt Top embossing folder, which makes an excellent background. The Painted Autumn pattern paper is one of my favorites from the Holiday Catalog. I love the bright Fall colors and the variety of patterns. I knew they would make some pretty pumpkins. The Copper Metallic Thread is bundled together and glued down.
Autumn is a natural season of change. The leaves change colors and eventually fall from the trees. The temperatures start to drop. And the Holiday season begins. Remember to give thanks for everything you’ve been blessed with.
