Happy Monday! I thought we’d start the week with a lovely flower wreath. Today’s card mixes two different sets, Forever Greenery and Field of Flowers. I love all the green in the Forever Greenery Suite and those gold hoops are just the cutest thing ever. For my wreath I used a mix of the greenery stamps from the Forever Fern stamp set and the flowers from the Field of Flowers stamp set.
I love those itty bitty flowers from the Field of Flowers stamp set. And the coordinating punch makes it so easy to stamp them in multiple colors and punch out so you can have multicolored flowers.
Some of those flowers are pretty tiny though. I use my fine-tip glue pen to glue the tiny ones down. The medium flowers aren’t much bigger than those itty bitty ones. I had to cut the mini dimensionals in half to glue them down.
If you look closely, you can see that I also used a couple branches from the Forever Gold Laser cut paper behind the various greenery. You can hardly see them here in the photos, but I love the subtle look in person. It adds a nice touch and matches the gold hoops and the gold twine as well.
I love mixing different product suites together to get new and different looks. Don’t be afraid to mix things up. That’s part of the fun of creating.
