Debuting in the new Annual Catalog this past June is the product that replaces the Project Life pocket cards: Memories & More. If you enjoyed the Project Life products, you will love Memories & More. The card collections come with a few overlays and self-adhesive embellishments, just like Project Life. There is also pattern paper and stamp sets that coordinate with the card collections too.
I love how easy these scrapbook pages come together. You can slip your pictures and a couple cards in the pockets and your page is done in minutes. Or you can take a little more time and add a couple embellishments if you want to dress up a page.
For this page, I stamped the flowers in Berry Burst and glued them to the cards. The sentiment is stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with Gold embossing powder. I love this picture of my daughter from Winter Formal a few months ago. Looking at her big smile makes me smile too. She was a high school freshman this past school year. It’s amazing the changes kids go through once they start high school. They mature both physically and in personality. She’s already 5’7″ – 5 inches taller than me. And she’s more than willing to help out around the house, especially if it involves cooking.
This is the brand new circle tab punch. I stapled it in place to hold the ribbon and the sequin trim. It also holds the gold overlay in place so it doesn’t shift around in the pocket. The overlay is slightly smaller than the pocket and I wanted to make sure it stayed centered over the picture.
If you noticed the words “project life” on the side of my pocket page, yes I am using a retired pocket page. I still had a pack that I hadn’t used yet and wanted to finish them off.
If you never got around to trying out the Project Life products, now is your chance to invest in the Memories & More product line. The 6×8″ albums are inexpensive at $10 each, a pack of pocket pages is $6, and the card collections are only $10. For $26 and a handful of pictures, you can make a scrapbook.
