Today is the very last day of school. Only a few more hours and the last of the finals before it’s all over for the school year. Not only that, hubby is coming home for the weekend. It’s going to be a good weekend.
I am ready for a coffee break. A long 10 week coffee break… called Summer. No tests, no projects, no nagging. I would say no homework, but I’ve already got the list of books they’ll need to read over the Summer before school starts next Fall. Next Monday starts summer camps for soccer. That should keep them busy for the next five weeks.
Today’s card is another using the Coffee Break Suite of products. You’re probably getting tired of coffee cards. But seriously, these stamps and dies make adorable cards. Today’s card is super quick and easy to make. The linen thread is wrapped around the pattern paper and then the paper is glued to the card base. The mini corrugated tag is tied onto the linen thread. The pink coffee and whip are added using dimensionals. The only stamping is the coffee beans. It’s a little hard to see in the picture, but I used my fine-tip glue to make the coffee beans shiny.
I am off to put my feet up on the couch. Who knows, I might even get a little wild and crazy and take a nap.
