Filled With Love

I know you’re thinking it’s way too early for Valentine’s stuff. But it’s not. Really. Valentine’s Day is one month away. Not only that, it’s always a good time to tell someone you love them.

Today, I used one of the new Sweet Cups from the Occasions Catalog. These cups are a great size to load with a few treats but not so big that you need a ton of candy to fill it. These Cups are food safe so you can even load them with homemade treats too.

To cover the outside of the Sweet Cup, I did end up cutting one cup apart so I could make a pattern. I was a little bummed to cut it apart, but in the long run, it will be a huge timesaver because I will already have a pattern ready to go. And with a pattern, I had very little wasted paper guessing on the correct dimensions and angle of the curve.

The outside of the cup is decorated with our new All My Love pattern paper and All My Love ribbon. For the top of the lid, I die cut the largest sizes of our scalloped circle and circle dies. The circle is decorated with the hearts stamp from the Forever Lovely stamp set. The heart die comes from Be Mine Stitched Framelits. This cup turned out so cute and would be a good gift for some special friends. Keep in mind these cups can be used for any occasion, not just Valentine’s day.
