Just a reminder that today is the last day to take advantage of my birthday special. I’m offering two specials for this Holiday weekend. With every purchase of $50 or more (pre-tax and shipping), I will send you a package of either the pearl or rhinestone embellishments. And since Sale-abration is still going on, you’ll also pick out a FREE Sale-abration item too for every $50 you spend pre-tax and shipping. Don’t forget to add the Sale-abration item(s) to your order.
And for those of you that want to get your craft supplies at a discount all the time and want to join my team, I will send you a package of the In Color Markers, either the 2016-18 colors or the 2017-19 colors. And you’ll still be able to take advantage of the Sale-abration benefits for signing up too. The New Demonstrator kit is only $99 including shipping. First choose $125 worth of products for which you’ll pay only $99. And then select TWO additional FREE stamp sets to be shipped with your kit (up to $101 value). That’s a value of up to $226, plus the FREE markers that I will send to you.
Here’s the fine print:
- The package of pearls or rhinestones or markers will come from me separately. I will mail them out before the end of February.
- These specials are being offered by me personally and not Stampin Up. You cannot redeem these specials through another Demonstrator or Stampin Up.
- To get the free pack of markers, you must complete the online Demonstrator Agreement form and pay for your kit.
- These specials are valid for all new recruits that join my team or orders placed starting at 12:01 am PST on Friday February 16, 2018 and will end at 11:59 pm PST on Monday, February 19, 2018.
If you have any questions about my birthday specials for this coming weekend, just let me know. I can answer any questions you have about becoming a Demonstrator. I’d love to send out lots of pearls, rhinestones, or markers this month! Don’t make me celebrate my birthday alone. Be sure to join in the fun this weekend!
And now for today’s project…
Last Friday, I shared the January Paper Pumpkin kit, which was Valentine treat holders. You can read about it here. After assembling all 32 treats, we realized she was going to be short 6 treats. So I made up a couple treat holders to look similar to the Paper Pumpkin treat holders. Once I realized how quickly these little pouches could be made, I knew they would be perfect for a couple of quick Easter treats. I know… already planning Easter, which is only six weeks away.
I used the Tutti-frutti pattern paper to make the treat holders. I thought the fun bright patterns would be great for these. I didn’t really think about the fact that the insides would show the fruit. Oh well. They are still fun and very Spring-y. The Paper Pumpkin treat holders had a similar notecard on the inside, which I used as the model for these. Here is my pattern for these treat holders. Like I said, these are very simple to make. For the Valentine’s treat holders, I started with a sheet that was 7”x6”, which makes the pouch a little wider. When finished, they were 3.5”x5”. It kind of bothered me though that I couldn’t get four treat holders out of one sheet of 12″x12″ paper. For my Easter treats, I used a sheet that was 6”x6” so I could use the mini Fruit Basket paper. These pouches are 3”x5” when finished.Fold up the flap on the bottom right side and glue it to the card base using a thin strip of Tear n Tape. Fold the front so the card is closed. Then punch your hole in the upper left corner on both the front and back at the same time. I rounded the upper left corner just like the Paper Pumpkin kit.I made a few of these in different pattern papers. The bunny is colored using our new Stampin Blends markers. Using alcohol markers does require a bit of practice to get the technique of shading just right. I suggest practicing the coloring a few times until you are comfortable with it. And you’ll definitely want to color your image before you glue it to your finished project. If you have an oops, you can re-stamp your image and color it again.
Don’t forget to take advantage of my birthday special. It expires tonight at 11:59 pm PST.
