We had our Downline Holiday party a couple weeks before Christmas. It was so great to have most of the team together. We missed those that were not able to make it.
We had a lovely potluck lunch. Everything was absolutely delicious.
I had the best of intentions to make little gifts for everyone. But instead, they ended up being Make & Takes. I love the Sweet Gingerbread stamp set and dies and have had a lot of fun making things with them. I just knew there had to be a way to make the house into a 3-D house and it actually was not that difficult. I just needed a box center between the two houses.
I used vellum on the inside of the house behind the windows. Originally, I thought it would be cute to put lights inside, but the house is really too small for that.
This is the back side of the house. I added a snowy tree to the back just for a little something extra.
The wood stand is a cupcake stand that I found at a local store. The plastic candy canes also came from a local store. I added the sparkly felt to the top of the stand so it would resemble snow.
These are some of the treats made by the other ladies. I missed getting a photo of the giant hot chocolate bomb.
Rather than everyone bringing gifts for each other, we each brought one gift and then played a “gift-stealing” game. That was a lot of fun. We always have a great time together.
