Before I share today’s project, I wanted to give you an update on sold out products. I mentioned a couple days ago that there are items that are selling out very quickly in the Holiday Catalog. Here is a current list if items that are no longer available.

Now, for today’s project… I usually don’t decorate for Christmas prior to Thanksgiving weekend. But I usually like to have a few projects made and ready to go. This year I made the adorable banner on page 8 of the Holiday Catalog. I changed it up just a bit based on the supplies that I had on hand and made it quite a bit longer. This is just a portion of the banner here.
I have to say, the large deer in the Dashing Deer stamp set is so pretty. And the stamp set has a coordinating die set, which means you don’t have to cut out those antlers. Yay!
A couple tips for this project. To get the two different colors on the deer, I inked the entire deer first in Crumb Cake and then colored the antlers with my Espresso marker before stamping it. For those deer on the green background, I added a red rhinestone for the nose. My doily at the top of each banner is from the Stitched Label Frames set. For the banner shape, I free-hand cut the pennant part at the bottom. I used linen thread to string them all together.
This banner is a great project that you can make as big or little as you want. And with just a few supplies, you can make your own. Like on the Order Online button on the right and it will take you right to my store.
