I still had the Florals In Bloom Suite out on my desk this weekend so I made a couple more things with it. The Florals In Bloom Suite has these lovely floral images. I paired a couple of the pattern papers together to make my card. I added the vellum on top of the pattern paper to soften the look a bit. For my background, I stamped one of the floral images repeatedly around the outside edges to help fill in the space. I love how it adds a … [Read more...] about Bloom

Mini Magnet Board
Since we're approaching Back To School days, I thought it would be fun to make a mini magnet board. I found some mini metal hanging signs that are approximately 4 x 8" at a local craft store. The signs themselves were very plain and just had "welcome" stamped across them. I knew that they could be fabulous with a little bit of pattern paper added to them. I added the gray card stock first. Than each of the pattern paper strips centered in … [Read more...] about Mini Magnet Board
Happy Day
Stampin Up has the best pattern papers. This pack of paper includes two sheets of party themed punch outs that are perfect for adding to cards. One of my favorites is this large bouquet of flowers. It's so pretty, you really don't need anything else for the card. I've shared a lot of birthday cards this week. Today's card could be used for a birthday or just to say hello. I love quick and simple cards like this. Something like this means I … [Read more...] about Happy Day
Extraordinary Floral
Well last week turned out to be super busy with a couple events happening and I ended up missing a couple posts last week. Sometimes these things happen. I'm back this week with brand new projects using brand new products from the new Catalog. I love when we get a new Catalog and there are unusual products that we have not seen previously. This particular bundle, Extraordinary Flora, has a coordinating washi tape with florals that match the … [Read more...] about Extraordinary Floral
Lots Of Love
Happy Friday! Today I'm back with the Floral Delight Suite. My previous card used the dies to make the flowers. This time I'm using the stamps. The stamps are just as pretty as the dies. This Suite has two different coordinating packs of pattern paper. One is a a regular pack of pattern paper. The other is a pack of vellum paper that has some very lovely patterns. The blue gingham I used is one of the vellum sheets. This Suite is … [Read more...] about Lots Of Love
Wishing…
This card looked better. Honestly, I made it when I was not at my creative best. I felt like I needed a label of some sort, but couldn't find one I was really happy with and ended up with what I used below. The "wishing" is too long and the "you well" is too small for the white label. And after looking at it for several days, I decided to take it apart and fix it. Now, this one I'm much happier with! I very carefully peeled up the … [Read more...] about Wishing…
Delightful Wishes
After I wrote Monday's post, I was inspired to get out the Floral Delight Suite. This Suite will coordinate with the March Paper Pumpkin kit. After going through all the paper and stamps, I cannot wait to get the March kit now. This card has a lot going on, but I love all the different layers. The blue plaid paper is from the Vellum pack of paper. Seriously, this paper is absolutely gorgeous and I'm just getting started using it. And those … [Read more...] about Delightful Wishes
Make It Simple
Last week I shared this lovely card in our New at SU Blog Hop. I love this card with the embossing on the white card stock. It really steps up the look of the card. But what if you don't have embossing folders or a machine with which to use them? You can still make a lovely card without the embossing layer. Today's card is almost identical but without the embossing. I did use a die cut to make the white rectangle. However, you could cut … [Read more...] about Make It Simple
