After making up my April Paper Pumpkin kit, I wasn’t quite ready to put away the stamp set. I’ve got a few ideas for projects for this stamp, and here’s the first one.
I used this flower stamp to make a completely different card. I stamped the flower three times on Poppy Parade paper and cut out the three different layers of petal, with each layer being slightly smaller than the one below. To give dimension to the flower, I crinkled the flower into a ball and then smoothed it back out. The curry flowers have only the top two layers.
I absolutely love the detail in the flower from the April Paper Pumpkin kit. It’s a little tough to see all the detail on the Poppy flower, but it looks so pretty in real life.
What do you do with your Paper Pumpkin stamps once you’ve finished your kit? I’d love to see what you make. You can tag me on your projects in Instagram or Facebook (@247inkspiration).
May’s Paper Pumpkin kit was specially designed by Stampin Up’s founder Shelli Gardner. I saw a sneak peak of the kit a couple weeks ago and it’s very much her vintagy floral style. The kit includes an exclusive photopolymer stamp set, paper and crafting materials to create 12 cards (3 cards of 4 unique designs), 12 exclusive, coordinating envelopes, and a Classic Stampin’ Spot. Coordinating colors for this kit are Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Old Olive, Petal Pink, Pool Party, Pretty Peacock, Soft Suede, and Very Vanilla.
Since our Paper Pumpkin kits have been so popular, Stampin Up is trying a brand new kind of kit. The Everything Is Rosy kit will be available for the month of May (or while supplies last). This is a fun new collection of products that all coordinate together – stamps, dies, paper, ribbon, and embellishments. There are no instructions in the kit so you are limited only by your imagination.
This kit has it all. You can see below a full list of the products in the kit.
New stamp pads means new storage! Check out our brand new Storage line. This product line is expected to be very popular and may sell out quickly. But don’t worry, our new Storage will be available through the next Catalog period so you’ll have the opportunity to get it later if you miss out on this first round.
