Adulting Is Hard

Happy Monday! I’m pretty sure it’s Monday. Although it does seem like the days blend together lately.

I’m having so much fun playing with the Nothing’s Better Than stamp set. Today’s card is for the over 21 crowd. Cocktails, because adulting is hard.

I love that all the drink pieces in the stamp set are individual. Since the set is a photopolymer set, it makes it pretty easy to line up the glass, drink, lemon, and umbrella. This makes it so much easier to get just the look you want. To get the two-toned drink, I inked the stamp in yellow and then sponged on a bit of the orange at the bottom.

It’s a little hard to tell in the photo, but the “Cocktails” is 3D. I used the coordinating Cocktails die to die cut one of our new Foam Sheets. The foam sheets have adhesive on both sides so you can attach card stock to them and then die cut your image. These foam sheets are going to be a lot of fun.
