Stampin Up Sent Me A Diamond

January 15, 2020 by Diane Leave a Comment

It’s Wednesday and I promised you an update on the plumbing saga so here goes. The plumber showed up Monday, but still couldn’t figure out which line was the problem so he called in reinforcements. Within a couple hours, I had five plumbers at my house working. It looked like a plumbers convention in front of my house. It took about seven hours, but they figured out which line was the problem, how far back they had to go to cut it, and then how to fix  everything else to get it back up and running. We are 90% back online. We just need that one line rerouted through the house and then we’re good. Well, aside from all the walls that will need patching, cabinetry replaced, and all the damaged flooring replaced.

In the midst of all this overwhelming chaos, Stampin Up sent me a diamond! A really teeny tiny diamond, but it still counts. They also sent a lovely congratulatory letter and card.  And I also received my bonus for reaching the milestone too! (Guess what I’m going to spend it on? See paragraph above.) I am so thankful for everyone who’s supported me through the years. I would have never reached this without you.

This is a close-up of my pin with the diamond. They send you a new pin for every $100,000 in sales.

Speaking of gratitude, I am still in the process of getting the December customer appreciation gifts in the mail. These are the thank you gifts going to those that made a $50 or more purchase last month. This plumbing leak has put me a little behind on getting things done.

I did find sometime this weekend to meet up with some other Stampin up demonstrators. It is always so much fun to get together with other Demonstrators and check out their studios and talk about how they do their classes. And the host, Jeanne had a lovely project for us to make. This valentines sampler is just the cutest thing.

I’m doing my best to get back into my studio with more regular hours this week. I should be back to my regular schedule of projects every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday by this Friday. I appreciate your patience while I’m dealing with a lot of water.
