I promised myself that I would finish off my to-do this weekend before starting the March Paper Pumpkin kit. I got so close to finishing it too, but ran out time by Sunday evening. But I did get some major tasks done that I really thought would take a lot longer.
One of which, was scraping the popcorn from my bedroom ceiling. My daughter came over and helped me tackle that giant project without any complaints. In fact, she was quite the cheerleader that we could finish it all in one day. We probably spent more time prepping the room by packing up everything around the room, taking down all the pictures and shelves, and covering all the furniture with tarp.
Oh my goodness, the mess this makes! No matter how many tarps you put out, there is still a huge mess everywhere. The clean up took almost as long as the prep. And I will need to mop my room at least one more time after already mopping it twice.
Even though I had a big win for a major home improvement project, I did not get everything checked off that pesky to-do list. So the March Paper Pumpkin sits there taunting me.
Sure, I could have gone ahead and done the kit anyway and skipped one of my to-do’s but I really wanted to finish that list. So this kit sits there waiting for me to finish that last item and then I can dig in.
