As you know, last week I had an unintentional pause on my blog posts. Despite my best efforts, I ended up not having enough time to pre-plan a couple posts. And this is the reason… I planned a crafty retreat weekend for my downline.
Planning and hosting a retreat is so different from attending one as a vendor. I have a great appreciation for those that do this regularly. Plus, I need to thank Lyndi for all of her help behind the scenes. She has far more experience than I attending retreats and her expertise was invaluable to me. She had so many great ideas that I used. I really appreciate everything she did to help the weekend run smoothly.
Here are just a few pictures from the weekend… Here we are gathered in front of the photo op wall.

This house hosts small retreats. The house is lovely but the backyard is absolutely stunning. There was a pool, spa, outdoor kitchen, fire pit, and so much more. We took advantage of the spa late in evening. It was so relaxing.

This is one of the crafting areas. I set up the table gifts before everyone arrived.

Here’s the view from another crafty area and part of the kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked, which was great because we did not need to bring cooking tools or pots and pans with us.

And what’s a crafty event without a snack? We got out the good cheese and some veggies for an afternoon snack.

I love spending time with these ladies. Even though we may not get together very often in person, it’s like no time has passed since we were last together. That’s the sign of a true friendship. Things like this remind me why I love Stampin Up. People say the best thing about being a demonstrator is the discount. For me, it’s the friendships I’ve made. I treasure those.
Everyone commented that they would definitely come back again so I booked a weekend for next year. If you join my team, you’d be on the invite list to join us in April 2026. Coincidentally, Stampin Up is having a Join special this month.
The location that I rented for the weekend hosts weekend retreats all the time. Contact me and I can put you in touch with Tropical Craft Retreats. The house is located in the San Diego CA area. The host is lovely and the house is amazing. We had the best time.
