In the US, tomorrow is Thanksgiving. It’s a day when we come together with family and friends to show our love and gratitude for one another and for all of life’s blessings.
Thanksgiving is also the unofficial end to the Fall season. I realize it’s technically still Fall for several more weeks, but as soon as the leftover turkey is wrapped up and the pumpkin pie eaten, it’s time to break out the Holiday decor. So, I’ve got one more Fall card to share for this Season of Thanks and then we move on to reindeer, presents, snow, and Santa.
Today’s card is another slimline card. These cars are 3.5″x8.5″ and the fit in a number 10 business envelope. Or you can make your own custom envelope to fit it. I had a couple more of the bronze acorns in my stash so I used one here on the knot. I’ve also used most of the pack of pattern paper. This is pretty good, because I’m usually hoarding it until I find juuuust the right project to use it on. Yay me!
This year things are a little different, so we’re doing things differently. This Thanksgiving we are not spending the day with family or friends. Instead, it will be just the kids and I home alone. We’ll definitely be thinking of those we can’t spend the day with. And hopefully we’ll get a chance to chat with them on the phone. I’m so thankful for my family and friends, my health, and having a roof over my head. What are you thankful for?
And PS… Stampin Up extended their one day sale for one more day! Hooray!
