Since Monday’s post was longer, I’m keeping it simple today and I’m giving you TWO cards for the price of one. Bonus! I’m using the Rose Wonder Stamp Set and Rose Garden Thinlet dies again today. I wanted to give you some more ideas for these two items because I know you’re thinking you really don’t need another flower set. But, I’m telling you – you need this one!
This first card is very similar to one in the Occasions Catalog. I did change out the colors and the twine. I love that I can take ideas from the Stampin Up Catalogs and change them based on what supplies I already own.
I’m all for quick and easy cards. I stamped the leaves twice in green and then added two of the green stem die cuts. I made a couple loops of gold twine and then added them to the back side of my banner before gluing the banner to the card. The pattern paper is the Perfectly Artistic Designer Series Paper, which is available only until 2/15 and it’s FREE with a $50 order, pre-tax and shipping.
My second card also uses the same stamp set and die set. Super quick and easy to make this one as well. Using one of the flower stamps from the set, I stamped all over the card base to make my own background. This time I stamped directly on top of the Perfectly Artistic paper. The Trim and ribbon are just around the two banners and not the entire card base.
Either one of these cards would be great for mailing because they are flat and don’t have a bunch of embellishments adding a lot of weight to them. Don’t forget to click on the Order Now button so you can get that Perfectly Artistic paper before it does away on 2/15!
