Here's the second part of the card – piercing your paper! Here's what you'll need:
The Stampin Pierce Mat, Paper-Piercing Pack, and the Paper-Piercing Tool. The Paper-Piercing Pack comes with three different template sheets with all sorts of shapes to coordinate with our dies and punches. You can see in the picture that it comes with a pre-printed outline on the template so you can line it up with your punched piece. I have it set off just slightly from my die-cut shape so you can see the lines on the template.
The Pierce Mat is almost 3/8ths of an inch thick. It's thick enough for paper piercing because your piercer won't go all the way through to your work surface below.
The Piercing Tool has a nice solid handle and it's comfortable to hold. The tip is very sharp so you'll want to be careful with it. I kept the little rubber cover that came with it and store it this way.
Happy Stampin!
