I absolutely love it when my plans come together so easily and quickly. It’s just the greatest when you come up with an idea and then you start working on a project and it’s so easy to put together that it’s almost like magic.
And then there’s weeks like this one, when everything in your life decides to happen this week. And then you find out that the product you wanted to use in your next make and take is actually on back-order for at least another six weeks. Then you come up with an awesome Plan B only to realize you don’t actually have what you need to make it. Sigh. It’s like the crafting gods are against you.
Thank goodness the internet is a vast and wonderous thing and is full of tons of ideas. So, now we pick ourselves up off the floor and we move on to Plan C. I’ve decided Plan C is way better than Plan A, or even Plan B would have been. And without further ado, here is one of my make & takes for this weekend at the Just Crop Retreat. When life gives you lemons, or takes away the usual “bunny” options, it’s time to dig into those craft supplies and look for other options. This bunny is made from one the petals of the Orchid die set. The eyes and nose come from the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch. You’ll want to use your Take A Pick Tool to help you with the placement of the eyes and nose. Those pieces are super small. The label is brand new Story Label Punch released earlier this month. And the “Hoppy for you” is from the So Hoppy Together Sale-abration stamp set.
I’m a firm believer that things happen for a reason. I think this adorable bunny turned out better than my first idea.
Or even my second idea. 🙂
