Oh my goodness, that means we only have like 170 days left of Christmas shopping. I better get busy…
Or maybe we'll just work on Father's Day first. This is a super quick and very simple card to make. Really, it only takes about 3 minutes. Maybe even less. Using half of an 8.5×11" cardstock (this one is Soft Suede), fold in half. Get out your Simply Scored, and mark the middle of one side. Using scissors, I cut down from the mark about 1". Then using my bone folder, score from the corner to the center so it looks like a dress shirt. And since I used Soft Suede on the outside, I needed a contrasting color for the inside to look like an undershirt.
I know, you're probably wondering where, oh where, did I get that fabulous tie! Well, I made it and so can you! Super easy, because I'm giving you the template. This tie uses our Mocha Morning DSP that just RETIRED. I hope you got yours before it was sold out. If not, don't worry there are new DSPs to choose from. World Spectacular would make a cool tie for just the right dad, but some less outrageous choices woould be Natural Composition, Comfort Cafe, International Bazaar, or Polka Dot Parade.
You're welcome to print out the Template and scale on a copier to fit your needs. The tie is a little askew, but I think that adds to the charm. My template is on cardstock rather than copy paper though because I've used it a number of times and needed something sturdier.
Happy Stampin!
