I’ve come to the realization that we are now almost half way through the Occasions Catalog sales period and I still have a handful of OnStage Display projects from last November that I have not yet shared. Whoops. I probably should have shared them weeks ago, but they just kept getting bumped for other more timely projects.
One of my favorite stamps sets from the Occasions catalog is the Beautiful Day stamp set. It has this massive flower stamp and a massive butterfly stamp. You can see a project with the butterfly here.
I colored in the flower using my Stampin Blends markers. I love that we now have alcohol markers in our matching colors. My coral marker matches my coral ink pad and paper perfectly. The rhinestones were colored using the Blends markers as well.
I really wanted to do something unique with the flower stamp and shaker cards were all the rage last Fall. So I cut out a few of the petals from the flower and turned it into a shaker card. The three petals are three separate sections so all the sequins don’t end up at the bottom of the card. To keep the sequins visible, I put my foam tape really close to the edges of the petals.
I’ll do my best to share the last of these OnStage projects over the next week or so. I still have some great things to share with you.
