Recently, one of the employees at Stampin Up posted on the Stampin Up blog that she was disappointed in herself that she hadn’t mailed out Christmas cards last year. And now with Facebook, the number of actual birthday cards being mailed out by people has decreased (you can read her post here). So she decided she would “bring birthdays back”. In other words, she is mailing out cards to everyone that asks her for one. Her current list has passed 1400 card requests! Amazing!
I decided to join in the movement as well and also get birthday cards mailed, rather than just a post on someone’s FB wall. Here is the first birthday card I made and I’ve already delivered it!

I can’t promise all cards will be this fancy with the hand cut flowers. And the stamp sets and paper will vary as well. I will do my best to get it to you as close to your birthday as I can.
About that hashtag in the title… once you receive your handmade card, post a picture of it on Instagram or Facebook with this hashtag so we can all see it. And hopefully keep perpetuating the movement by getting even more people to mail cards.
