As soon as I saw the Festive Tag kit, I knew it would make an adorable banner for the Holidays. The kit comes with five different styles of tags, which worked perfectly to use the word “Merry”.
To make this banner, I used my Countryside Corners and Alphabet A La Mode dies. I used the middle Countryside Corner hexagon die. I trimmed most of the Festive Tag bases to fit the hexagon. I also cut off the loop on the top of all the tags since I wouldn’t be using the loops to hang them. I used my adhesive sheets for the letters since the letters are so narrow. Our adhesive sheets are pretty amazing for die-cutting. You add them to the back of the card stock, then die cut out your letter. Once it’s die cut, the letter is now essentially a sticker and you just peel the adhesive sheet backing off and stick it down.
The colors in the banner are not the traditional red and green, but I love how sweet this looks. I’ll definitely be using it this Holiday.
Do you buy our kits? How often do you change it up? Do you like to make it just like the directions? Or are you a creative rebel, doing your own thing? Comment below! I’d love to hear what you do with our kits.
