Happy Friday! Well, this year sure has been an adventure so far. And with everything going on and all the construction and repairs at my house, I just have not had a lot of time to play with all the fabulous stuff in the Occasions Catalog. I’m doing my best to get it out now and make something with it.
One of the very first things I bought was the Parisian Blossoms Suite. And you can bet I’ve used with the Eiffel Tower stamp set, but the second stamp set in the Suite hasn’t seen much action. Such a shame because that Forever Blossoms stamp set is just so nice. And those flowers in the stamp set are a perfect match for the Parisian Blossoms pattern paper.
For this card, I used my Blends to color the flowers. I stayed with super light colors to keep the card soft. I used Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam Blends. As I was making the card, I knew sharp corners on the white card stock were not going to be a good fit with the soft look I was trying to achieve. I couldn’t find my corner rounder punch, so I had to improvise. I used one of my circle punches to trim the edges. To do this, you’ll want to stick the corner of your paper in through the back of the punch as shown below. Then punch.
We lucked out that the Forever Blossoms stamp set and dies are not retiring at the end of the month. But, the discounted bundle pricing will go away when the new Catalog starts in June. You definitely want to pick this up now while you can get it on sale. Just click the Shop Button on the right to go directly to my shop.
A sneak peak of June’s kit…
