Hello Love!
Today is Five Minute Friday Valentine’s style. Today’s card is perfect for when you need something in a hurry but don’t have a lot of time. In other words, when you’re making your Valentine’s Day card on February 14th about 20 minutes before you give it to your significant other. Raise your hands if this is you. (Am I the only one with my hand raised?)
Seriously though, this is a fast card to whip up. I started with a standard size card base. Then I trimmed my Real Red to 1/4th” smaller than my card base and then the top layer of Whisper White is 1/8th” smaller than the Real Red.
The smaller hearts are stamped in Blushing Bride. Some of the hearts, I stamped off before stamping on the card base to give it more of a dimensional look. Then using a paint brush and some reinker, I flicked Real Red ink over the top of the Blushing Bride hearts.
The Hello Love is stamped and then die cut. The Blushing Bride sequin trim and White ribbon are fastened to the heart with one of the new mini paperclips. Then I added the heart to the front of the card using dimensionals. So quick to make and it’s still a beautiful card.
Don’t forget Sale-abration is going on right now. For every $50 purchase (pre-tax and shipping), you can pick one free Sale-abration item. What a deal!
