Today’s cards uses the Birthday Bouquet Suite. I love the colors used in the Birthday Bouquet Pattern Paper – Blushing Bride, Mossy Meadow, and Mint Macaron! The paper is so pretty that I almost don’t want to cover it up.
I love the clean look of the white background on a card, but sometimes it looks too bare. Using washi tape or a border pattern helps to fill up some of that space. And by using muted colors, it won’t be overwhelming on your card.
The Watermelon Ribbon is stapled to the Pattern Paper. Then the Tag is placed over the top to cover the staples. You’ll notice the tag is raised slightly over the top of the card. This means it won’t fit in one of our standard size envelopes. But with the Envelope Punch Board, you can easily make your own envelope to size. The Glitter Tape was only available during the Sale-abration but I’ve seen similar products online from other stores.
I’ve been keeping my nose to the grindstone working on my projects for OnStage, which is actually next week! Yikes! I am making steady forward progress, which is good. And only had to re-do two projects because I wasn’t happy with them the next day, which is also good!
In honor of OnStage next week, I’ll be sharing the swaps I’ve made to trade at OnStage. OnStage is an event that I look forward to attending every year. Approximately 3500 demonstrators from around the country and Canada all get together to learn new things, rekindle friendships, and find out about upcoming Stampin Up news. This event is open to all levels of Demonstrators. Interested in becoming a Demonstrator? I’d love to have you join my team. We welcome interested parties to our Demonstrator Meetings so you can check out our Group and see what we do. Some of the ladies on my team signed up just for a discount on their craft supplies and others have joined to make it a business. You really can make this what you want it to be.
