Out With The Old, And In With The New

This is always a tough time of year. The end of a Catalog brings many tears as we say good-bye to some favorite products. This is also the time of year another group of In Colors retires. Yes, the 2015-2017 In Colors are retiring next week. Get ready to say good-bye to Cucumber Crush, Tip Top Taupe, Watermelon Wonder, Delightful Dijon, and Mint Macaron. I’ll miss you all.

In my studio, I have a display set up with the current In Colors. And since these five colors are retiring, it was time to freshen up the display. This is what it looked like a few days ago. And this is what it looks like now. From left to right, say hello to Berry Burst, Tranquil Tide, Powder Pink, Lemon Lime Twist, and Fresh Fig. You are absolutely going to love these new In Colors. Lemon Lime Twist might take some getting used to, but everything else is fabulous. The chalkboard easel came from a local craft store. This time I put the names on the back of the tags rather than the front. The bows really looked better at the top with the ribbon rather than in the middle like the last group. I love how this display shows off the colors, the Color Family Designer Series Paper, the coordinating ribbon, and the matching bows. Those bows come pre-tied for you and they are peel-and-stick, which means I’ll be buying them by the bunches. Bows on everything!
