Today’s post is going to be short. I’ve been super busy creating projects that will be on display at OnStage next week! Time is flying by and I still have a couple more to make. I absolutely can’t wait to share those projects here, but it will have to wait until Stampin Up gives me the okay.
I made this card several months ago but didn’t get a chance to share it here. This card is not one of the items that will be on display next week. Want to know why? Because that beautiful green, Mossy Meadow, is retiring at the end of May. I’m seriously bummed. I love this rich, earthy green. It is perfect for nature and floral images. If you love this green, better order it right away. Anytime colors retire, the ink pads, reinkers, and cardstock goes quickly. Sometimes it’s sold out the first day when the Retirement List is announced. The Retirement List will come out in May (exact date TBA), but don’t wait until then or you could be sorry.
The blue streaks in the background are from Gorgeous Grunge. This set is perfect for creating a little background interest. It anchors the leaves so they don’t look like they are just floating on the page. It helps mute all that white background as well. The gold sequins are from the Gold Sequin Trim. The sequins are super easy to pull off the threads and I use my Fine Tip Glue pen to glue them down.
Anyway, I’m off to make some more goodies for OnStage. I seriously cannot wait to share these projects. I am so excited about them. One of the projects I’ve been wanting to make for quite awhile and the stars have aligned just right! I wish I could give you a sneak peak, but I can’t and it’s killing me! Ugh! Soon enough…
